About Us
Fill The Empty Stomachs Farming Initiative is a registered Uganda NGO that strives to gain economic independence by growing food to feed all poor people of Uganda. We strive to unite in solidarity across religions and tribes to grow and share our capital resources, including land, to pursue projects to teach economic independence through work.
Our Approach
Our approach can be summarized by four key concepts:
- As a charity, we provide free food for those whom cannot afford to buy food, including young, old, and sick people in need of fresh nutritious sustenance.
- Business revenue from selling our food to customers with the means to purchase high quality fresh organic produce, while also sustaining our initiatives continuation and growth.
- Educational outreach as we advise and support the creation of new farmland and animal range land, working with local schools and farmers.
- Volunteer recruitment as we work with local youth whom are inspired to assist in the farm work to feed their local community and raise awareness while having fun.
